Renovation of the Erjavčeva mountain hut

Dillemas are something constant in our lives.

Also, we deal with them daily. For us, mountain hut caretakers are questions such as “If we are a mountain hut, regarding the road being 50 meters from the hut?” and “Are we becoming more hostel or a hotel and not a mountain hut?”

We have renovated the hut just this year. And a new look with some modern touches for some looks like so. However, we are proud that we changed all 54 windows, renovated the entire first floor, replaced wooded walls, and renovated eleven private rooms, bathrooms and showers.

Simplicity inside, luxury outside.

Hut is more than 120 years old, taken by Slovenian owners 100 years ago. Yes, there were some significant renovations in the past. The latest was around 30 years ago. And we continue with this trend of a modern mountain hut with pride.
