Bograč is a goulash-like dish typical of Prekmurje.
The ingredients are pork, beef, venison, and potatoes, and for seasoning, onions, garlic, paprika and salt. It differs from another goulash mainly because it consists of at least three types of meat and the potatoes are cooked in the goulash, not separately.

Stuffed Peppers with Tomato Sauce is a simple recipe for a classic dish that is very popular in Slovenia. The peppers cook well in the tomato sauce and hold the filling perfectly. The filling is made of ground meat, rice and herbs. The sauce is naturally sweet, and there’s a generous amount of it. It is served with mashed potatoes.

We do not offer salads in the mountain huts, as we are far from settlements, farmers and shops, and we do not drive to the valley daily. We can also be cut off from the world for almost half a year when the road is closed due to snow, and we can usually only be reached on foot. We still miss salads, so beetroot is always on the menu.

Štruklji is a traditional Slovenian dish. They were mainly prepared for major joint work and holidays.
The first štrukli were made only from the pulled dough. They were made from white flour, later also from buckwheat. Today, they are also prepared from leavened puff pastry, noodles and potato dough. Štruklje can be cooked in salted dill or soup, steamed, baked or fried.

In the Dumpling mix, you will get five different tastes. Chocolate and orange, walnut, cottage chees, tarragon and blueberry.

Apple strudel or apple roll (colloquially strudel) is a puff pastry filled with apple filling. Since it is one of the Austrian national dishes, it is often associated with Austrian and partly Hungarian cuisine. The oldest existing recipe is handwritten and dates back to 1696.

It is made from puff pastry and apples. Sometimes we add little raisins and rum.
