We are looking for Indonesians to work in a mountain hut in Slovenia, Europe. Mountain huts are similar to hostels or hotels, except that they are located in remote areas. Explain me more bout the mountain hut.

Our mountain hut is in Triglav National Park, 8-10 kilometres from Kranjska Gora. It is the only hut on the Vršič Pass open year-round. We have 11 private rooms and a shared dormitory floor, with a total of 60 beds.

We also have a restaurant with approximately 90 seats, and we can serve up to 150 people in the garden at once.

We are looking for suitable candidates to work at Erjavčeva mountain hut who would like to work:

– Seasonally, during the peak season (from April or May to September, or at the latest until the end of October). The peak season depends on the weather and may vary.

– Year-round

Job Responsibilities:

The tasks vary and include:
– Cleaning the hut
– Tidying up rooms and beds
– Washing sheets and bedding
– Maintaining the hut’s surroundings
– Minor repairs
– Assisting with service (bringing and clearing food and drinks)
– Working as a waiter, serving at the bar
– Assisting in the kitchen

If you have excellent English language skills, additional responsibilities may include:

– Working at reception
– Serving guests
– Communicating with guests

Application Requirements:

No specific education is required to apply or express interest in the job. We will review all applications.

However, preference will be given to candidates with relevant skills and experience, such as:

– Motivation and willingness to work
– English language proficiency (spoken and written)
– Previous experience in tourism (e.g., in a hotel, restaurant, etc.)
– Previous work experience abroad
– If you already have a passport or work visa

Opening Hours

During the winter season (December – April), the hut is open every day except Monday, from 08:00 – 21:00.

During the summer season (April – October), the hut is open every day from 07:00 – 22:00.

Worker Benefits

Employees are entitled to paid leave for the entire month of November and April.

Workers live in the hut and do not pay for accommodation. Room, food, and drinks are provided free of charge.

Salary & Employment Conditions

The monthly salary varies based on employee performance. Due to differences in tax regulations between Indonesia and Slovenia, salaries may also vary depending on the type of employment:
– Regular employment
– Contract-based employment
– Self-employment (“s.p.”)

Self-employment (“s.p.”) is the most attractive and tax-efficient option. However, Indonesian workers must first be employed in Slovenia for at least one year before they can start their own business.

Salary Range

Salaries can vary from 20.000.000 – 60.000.000 IDR per month.

– Minimum salary: 23M IDR (including free accommodation, food, and drinks)
– Average salary: 30M IDR
– Advantage salary: 50M IDR (for self-employment and outstanding work performance)

Each qualified candidate will receive a calculated estimated salary after applying and undergoing an assessment.

Financial Assistance

If necessary, we can provide financial assistance (as a loan) for:
– Passport and work visa application costs: approx. 17M IDR
– Airplane ticket purchase: approx. 20M IDR

This loan will be repaid through salary deductions over time.
