The main part of the summer season is slowly coming to an end, and we are already thinking about winter activities at Erjavčeva Cottage.
Truth be told, we all have to admit, albeit with a bitter taste, that foreigners are the ones paying our bills, and the majority of conversations in the cottage are becoming less and less Slovenian.
Last year, we thought about inviting some vulnerable groups to Erjavčeva during the off-peak season and hosting them for free. Unfortunately, this year we have even more reasons to do so, due to the raging nature and floods that occurred.
Therefore, we will organize winter holidays between January and March 2023 with free accommodation at Erjavčeva for children, specifically:
- For families who have suffered from floods and postponed their vacations this year.
- For families with collaboration with PD Jesenice, from Jesenice or the surrounding area who cannot afford vacations due to their financial situation.
We will spend the holidays in nature and in a style suitable for a mountain cottage in winter. The only condition is that we will spend time together with no wireless networks, mobile phones, computers, or modern equipment. Instead of screens, we will look at the stars, play in the snow, warm ourselves by the hearth, and play board games together.
