Goličica mountain , Slovenia
Goličica is a lesser-known mountain in the Julian Alps, rising to 2,101 metres in the ridge southwest of Razor and Planja. Although it is not as famous as nearby peaks such as Prisank, Razor or Triglav, Goličica offers a quiet and authentic alpine experience for hikers who want to discover a more peaceful side of Slovenia’s high mountains. The summit, marked by a large stone cairn, is known as an excellent viewpoint with wide views across the surrounding peaks, valleys and wild limestone landscape of Triglav National Park. For travellers interested in hiking, mountain photography and less crowded routes in the Julian Alps, Goličica is a rewarding destination with a strong sense of solitude and natural beauty.
