From Erjavčeva mountain hut on Vršič Pass, Bovec can be reached by one of Slovenia’s most beautiful mountain roads, making it an excellent day trip or part of a longer alpine journey through Kranjska Gora, Trenta, the Soča Valley and Triglav National Park.
