Vrh Kraj sten is a lesser-known but impressive mountain summit in the Julian Alps, located inside Triglav National Park above the Krnica Valley and west of the famous Prisank mountain. Rising to about 2,314 metres, it offers a quieter and more authentic alpine experience than many of the better-known peaks around Vršič Pass. Its position near Prisank, Razor and the Krnica Valley makes it an excellent viewpoint for hikers and mountain photographers who want to discover a wilder side of Slovenia’s high mountain landscape. Because it is not one of the classic tourist names, Vrh Kraj sten feels more hidden, more remote and especially rewarding for visitors who already know the main attractions around Vršič and want to go a step deeper into the Julian Alps.
