Mala Pišnica Valley, known in Slovenian as Dolina Male Pišnice, is one of the most peaceful and hidden alpine valleys near Kranjska Gora in the Julian Alps. This closed, approximately 5-kilometre-long valley was shaped by the Mala Pišnica stream and opens near the area of Lake Jasna, close to the road toward Vršič Pass. Unlike the more visited attractions around Kranjska Gora, Mala Pišnica offers a quieter and more intimate experience of mountain nature, with forests, gravel riverbeds, steep slopes and views toward the surrounding peaks. Its calm atmosphere makes it especially attractive for hikers, photographers and nature lovers who want to discover a less crowded part of Triglav National Park and the alpine landscape between Kranjska Gora, Lake Jasna and Vršič.
