Peričnik waterfall
Peričnik Waterfall, also known as Slap Peričnik, is one of the most famous and photogenic waterfalls in Triglav National Park. Located in the glacial Vrata Valley near Mojstrana, it is formed by the Peričnik stream as it drops from a hanging valley into the deeper valley of the Triglavska Bistrica. The waterfall consists of two cascades: the impressive lower waterfall, about 52 metres high, and the smaller upper waterfall, about 16 metres high. Surrounded by forest, rock walls and alpine scenery, Peričnik is a must-see natural attraction for visitors exploring Mojstrana, the Julian Alps, Kranjska Gora and the wider Triglav National Park area.
