Log pod Mangartom is one of the most picturesque alpine villages in the upper Soča Valley, located in the Municipality of Bovec and surrounded by the dramatic peaks of the Julian Alps. Set beneath Mangart and close to Predil Pass, Koritnica Valley and Bovec, the village offers a powerful combination of mountain scenery, traditional alpine character and access to some of Slovenia’s most beautiful natural landscapes. Its position inside the wider area of Triglav National Park makes it an excellent destination for hiking, photography, scenic drives and discovering the quieter side of northwestern Slovenia. From Log pod Mangartom, visitors can explore the Koritnica River, the road toward Mangart Saddle, the route to Predil Pass and the historic connections between Slovenia and Italy.
